At Tomorrow’s Inc., we are developing an optical digital-camouflage device—an “invisibility cloak”—that captures the surrounding background and displays it onto the cloak surface to create a visual transparency effect.
At the current stage, we are testing camouflage effectiveness by applying painted patterns to mock-ups. Moving forward, we plan to evolve this into a variable digital-camouflage system equipped with displays.

What Is a Transparency Solution?
A transparency solution is an approach that visually eliminates—or significantly reduces—the presence of objects that were never meant to be seen within entertainment and architectural environments.
We are researching transparency using displays and related technologies, redefining architectural pillars and structures, physical constraints in exhibitions and stage productions, and spatial division caused by visibility or presence, through transparency and camouflage.
This enables us to push the limits of perception and creativity, creating spatial experiences that have never existed before.

Application Concepts
Expanding Design
By making pillars and wall surfaces transparent, we enable open spaces without obstructed sightlines—floating signage, invisible roadways, and more.
Examples:
① Scenic Design
- Make advertising displays appear as though they float in mid-air
- Reduce visual clutter by making building pillars transparent
- Make utility poles or streetlights “invisible” to improve cityscapes
② Practical Design
Reduce maintenance costs by enabling machines or building exteriors to visually camouflage structural surfaces
Improve automotive safety by making vehicle pillars visually transparent
